Wedding Favours

Wedding favours

For most people, their wedding is probably the biggest event they will ever organise. Even small
personal weddings require a lot of planning and thought and, in order for things to go well, every
last detail needs to be considered well in advance.

With so many things demanding attention, from flowers to dresses to photographers, some of the
smaller details can sometimes be left to the last minute or not given much thought at all. This can
sometimes happen with wedding favours and means that in the last couple of weeks running up to
the wedding you’re rushing around trying to think of nice little gifts and how to package them.

However, wedding favours should really be given a little more though than that they are after all
your way of saying thank you to your guests for coming to your wedding and sharing your special
day. They don’t have to be very big or very expensive and they add a lovely touch when everyone
sits down to enjoy a meal.

Lots of people choose something small like chocolates or sweets, however there’s no reason to limit
yourself to sweet treats when you’re thinking about wedding favours for your guests. Scented soaps
or bath salts, candles, tea light holders, miniature photo frames or key rings all make lovely gifts, and
most can be sourced to fit in with any budget. You’ll also find plenty of companies who will be able
to provide personalised packaging for your wedding favours, which will add a nice finishing touch.

Packaging can include specially made bags, boxes or ribbons and they can be produced to tie in with
the overall colour scheme or theme of your wedding, or if you would like them to match the flowers
you’re going to have on the table.

The best thing to do is contact a few companies and speak to them about what you’d like to do and
what your budget is. You’ll find that most will be more than happy to talk through your needs and
will have plenty of ideas on how to package your wedding favours tastefully and to suit your style.
